Major Course Goals
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
  • Operate and maintain a personal computer
  • Identify, compare and operate different Computer components (Motherboards, RAM, CPU’s, Hard Drives, Printers, Portable P.C’s)
  • Install and configure the Windows XP and Vista operating systems
  • Install and troubleshoot computer peripherals
  • Configure and Administer a Local Area Network
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network problems and manage network security
