What do I need to start?

In order to gain the optimal benefit from the training it is recommended that you have at least a general understanding of the operation of a PC.

Appropriate bridging learning can be organised if needed. Please contact one of our Careers Consultants if you have any concerns as to the suitability of this course. Students may use computer resources at any one of our conveniently located institutes within the allocated hours.

For access outside our Institute, you will require a PC equipped with relevant software and Internet access. Any pre-requisites required for specific courses are detailed with the course information.




Resources and Materials

All learning resources required to successfully complete this course are included. Students are also provided with as much personal tuition and support from our experienced Instructors as they require throughout the course.



Optional Assessment

Learners are encouraged to take the formal assessments upon completion of each subject. Formal validation of your skills ensures you can obtain credit for subjects you have completed should you decide to undertake further studies with Computer Power or another institution.

This assessment services are optional for this course and will not incur additional charges to the learner.




Certification

Course modules may include practice certification exams or questions. We encourage any person completing certification modules to undertake external certification exams. As this is optional it is at the learner's discretion and cost.

The allotted time frame for this course refers to the nominal contact hours in which you have access to our institutes to acquire the skills.

As it is self-paced, learners have the flexibility to fast track through courseware to complete subjects in advance of their timeframe, and to concentrate their study hours around work or other commitments. If needed, additional hours can be purchased. Our Institute support staff can help you plan the best use of your hours to ensure the timely achievement of your goals.
