Jaspreet completed 3 years of a Diploma in Computer Engineering in India before he moved to New Zealand. Jaspreet is one of our international students who has recently completed his Diploma of Business Systems at Computer Power. Throughout his studies, Jaspreet has learned a lot of programming, website designing, installing, repairing windows and networking.

Jaspreet is now looking for an entry level role in the IT Industry related to Help desk or software development. He is very keen to develop applications and design websites. He is familiar with Java and Microsoft .Net and likes learning new things. In his spare time, Jaspreet likes reading books and listening to music.

6827 Garry N. - NZQA Level 5
Diploma of e-Business Support

Garry has recently completed a Diploma of e-Business Support at Computer Power. This course involves the study of software development methodologies, information systems analysis, extended customer service, web design and databases. Garry has been involved in his own business in photofinishing and as a photographer both on his own and with other organizations. Garry has also worked as a photographer for a daily newspaper which meant he had to keep to strict time deadlines and he progressed to a senior photographer role. His experience has given him extensive interaction with customers and he has learnt to provide top customer service.

Garry has a real interest in photography moving into the digital age and he now has a high level of expertise in this medium including the extensive use of Photoshop. Throughout his work he has developed an interest in the IT industry and now that he has completed a diploma in e-Business, he is seeking a position where he can use his creative skills and technical knowledge in any IT related job.

Bjoern holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the Philippines. Four years of university life, on-the-Job experience, day-to-day experience and current learning experience here in New Zealand brought him to the position where he is ready for his work life and wanting to be the best. He recognized that New Zealand's IT companies indisputably represent “one of the best” in the IT industry. Bjoern decided to enrol himself at Computer Power and he has now completed a Diploma in Software Development.

Bjoern has more than 2 years’ experience working with .NET and C# language, an extensive Java language experience and in depth experienced in programming using PHP, HTML and SOAP. He also has knowledge in CSS, JavaScript and MYSQL as well as Oracle and PL/SQL Databases. His career goal is to progress in the field of Information Technology, specifically in the software and programming streams. His long term goal is to become a senior software developer. He has excellent written and verbal communication skills. His interests, during his free time, would be playing basketball, table tennis and badminton.

Certificate IV in Business Computing

Zurem has recently studied and completed our Certificate in Business Computing NZQA Level 4. This course provides students with comprehensive training in software applications, hardware and networking right through to help desk and customer service skills. The course that Zurem completed included the study of the Internet and e-Commerce, web page design, electronic accounting concepts, customer service and business skills.

Zurem is a motivated, confident and outgoing person with a very upbeat and positive personality. Zurem would particularly suit either a Customer Services Representative, admin based or customer support IT helpdesk role.

The Diploma of e-Business Support is a course that provides comprehensive training needed in today’s business world to develop and support electronic business solutions.

Mandeep is proficient in various programs, operating systems and applications. He is an expert at using web tools and technologies that are highly sought after by industry, such as multimedia networking, web design tools and web script development. His ideal job would be to design implement and manage IT business solutions across a variety of industries and business types. His hobbies are fishing, playing cricket and singing.
