Double Diploma Programmes - Commencing from 2 April 2012
Computer Power Institute will offer three Double Diploma Programmes for those international students who want to specialise and graduate in either Hardware or Software. These programmes are equivalent to two years duration however, due to the student centred-learning methodology applied at Computer Power, students could complete several months earlier. |

Hardware
Diploma in Network Engineering – NZQA Level 6
Diploma in Advanced Network Engineering – NZQA Level 7 Double Diploma Qualification Fee: $23,000* NZD
or
Diploma in Systems Technology – NZQA Level 5
Diploma in Network Engineering – NZQA Level 6 Double Diploma Qualification Fee: $22,500* NZD |

Software
Diploma in Software Development – NZQA Level 5
Diploma in Advanced Software Development – NZQA Level 6
Double Diploma Qualification Fee: $21,500* NZD
*Plus Enrolment Fee $500 NZD

Changes to Study to Work Visas (as of April 2, 2012)
To qualify for Study to Work visas, students will need to have obtained either:
A recognised New Zealand qualification of at least two academic year duration (16 months in total).
or
Any level 7 qualification of at least one year's duration.
or
Two level 4 to 6 (SMC points accruing) qualifications in succession. These must be of at least one academic year's duration (8 months study) each with the second course is at a higher e.g. one year level 5 qualification followed by a one year level 6 qualification.
