Working in New Zealand

Are there any work opportunities in New Zealand?

Yes! New Zealand is a popular tourist destination and millions of tourists are visiting New Zealand every year. As travel and tourism is the largest industry in New Zealand and in the world many international students work predominantly in this industry.

International students who are studying diploma level 5 courses are eligible for a part time work (20 hours per week) during the course of study and can work full time during Christmas break and summer holidays. After successful completion of the course students can apply for an open work permit for 6 month to find a job in New Zealand. After students find an employer and get a job offer or a contract they can apply for a work visa which can be extended to 2 years.

Students who are studying at Computer Power find it easier to make a career in New Zealand as they are trained by the industry and for the industry needs. Students are trained what potential employers are looking for and are able to fit straight into a working environment.
